Our History
The Theresa Police Department, serving the Village of Theresa in Dodge County, Wisconsin, has a proud history rooted in community-focused law enforcement. Officially established in the 1930s, the department began with a small team dedicated to maintaining peace and addressing the unique needs of the village. Over the years, it has grown alongside the community, adapting to changes in public safety practices while fostering strong connections with residents. Through its commitment to service, the Theresa Police Department continues to uphold its mission of ensuring safety and building trust within the community it serves.
Our Force
The Theresa Police Department is patroled by one full time police officer and a Chief of Police. The Dodge County Sheriff's Office provides 24/7 dispatch services to village residents and law enforcement services when the Theresa Police Department is not on duty.

The Theresa Police Department is now offering ink fingerprinting services for any resident or non-resident in need. The cost is as follows:
Village of Theresa Residents for employment - Free
Non-residents - $5 per card for employment.
All other cards - $15 for 2 cards.
Additional cards $5 each.
