    Village Overview

    The Village of Theresa is located on Highway 175 on the picturesque Rock River, approximately seventeen miles south of Fond du Lac and forty miles north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 

    In recent years, the Village has begun to flourish, with three new subdivisions and a Land Lease Community.  The area has also developed industrially with several new businesses in town.

If your waste/recycling was not picked up in a timely manner or if you have any questions, concerns or complaints please call Advanced Disposal directly @ 1-800-387-0987 or (920) 387-0987.

If you are having trouble (issues) with your water...(no water, rusty water, smelly water, storm water run-off, etc.), you will get faster service by calling the Department of Public Works directly @ (920) 488-4003, please feel free to leave a message.

Please remind us to change your mailing address before you leave for an extended period of time during the winter or summer. You can notify us by calling (920) 488-5421 (feel free to leave a message), by stopping at the Village Hall (202 S Milwaukee St) during normal business hours, by mail at PO Box #327, or by placing a note in the "payment" box located outside the door of the Village Hall. PUBLIC NOTICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS OF THE

VILLAGE OF THERESA MUNICIPAL WATER AND SEWER UTILITY

 

The Village of Theresa Municipal Water and Sewer Utility has filed an application with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSCW) to deregulate its sewer utility.  If this request is approved then the PSCW will no longer have primary jurisdiction over the rates and rules of the sewer utility.  The PSCW will continue to regulate the water utility.    

A telephonic public hearing on the application has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Theresa Village Hall, 202 S. Milwaukee Street, Theresa, Wisconsin.  Scheduling questions regarding this hearing may be directed to the PSCW at (608) 266-3768.

A person may testify in this proceeding without becoming a party and without attorney representation.  A person may submit this testimony in only one of the following ways:

  • Web Comment. Go to the Commission’s web site at http://psc.wi.gov, click on the “File a Comment” button on the side menu bar.  On the next page select the “File a comment” link that appears for docket number 5870-SA-100.  Web comments shall be received no later than the day before the hearing.
  • Oral Comment. Spoken testimony at the public session.
  • Written Comment. Instead of speaking at the hearing, write out a comment and submit it at the public session.
  • Mail Comment. All comments submitted by U.S. Mail shall be received no later than the day before the hearing and shall be addressed to: Attn: Docket 5870-SA-100 Comments, Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 7854, Madison, WI 53707-7854.

The PSCW intends to webcast this hearing live on the PSCW’s web site at http://psc.wi.gov under the “PSC Live Broadcast” button.
